THE COMMUNIDAD VALENCIA will be spending vast sums of money in this area over the next 5 years, a new airport 20km to the North West will be open in 2006 and there will be a link with the new high speed train that will run to Madrid, Barcelona and Paris. There is already the motorway A7 that's runs through to the Channel Tunnel. Approval has already been given for a 10,000,000sqm theme park to be called ‘Mundo Illusion’ (World of Illusions).

Many experts believe that between 2004 and 2007 when the Americas Cup is due to commence, real estate and land prices will soar in the Valencia Region. Conservative estimates suggest an increase of 50% in property prices.

The last two or three years have seen remarkable growth of between 25- to 31% per annum on property prices in the Valencia region. That is why many experts feel that the doubling of property prices, or more, is the likely outcome by the time the Americas Cup begins in 2007.

AS FAR AS THE DEVELOPMENT itself is concerned, there are at present 3 hotels up and running, one 3-star, a 4-star and a 5-star. There are already shops, banks, bars and restaurants on site, these have to stay open all year. Within the 5-star hotels there is the largest spa centre in Europe both indoor and outdoor.

WITHIN THE COMPLEX there are children's play areas, sports facilities, parks and other recreational facilities. In the 150 metres between the beach and the apartments there is a park with walks, lakes, children's areas and small open air theatre.
